Our story begins with Barron Financial Group’s founder and current Managing Partner, Jim Thibault. Based on his extensive corporate experience, and his two years at a large wirehouse brokerage firm, Jim had a sense of what clients wanted for assistance in their financial lives. Jim believes an advisory firm needs to be open and honest and wanted to structure his new business accordingly. As a Registered Investment Advisory firm, the financial advisors at Barron Financial Group accept a fiduciary role in their dealings with clients. Our journey began in 2006 as a partnership between Jim Thibault and local CPA Tom Barron. Jim immediately started the process of applying to be a Registered Investment Advisory firm with the CT Department of Banking, an expensive and rigorous process. By July 2006 the firm had completed the application review process with the banking department and Barron Financial Group, LLP, a Registered Investment Advisory firm was born. After a promising and rewarding start, Tom transitioned out of the business in 2009 and Jim’s wife Sandra came on-board to assist in managing the day-to-day operations of our growing client base.
